 | The All God's Children Community Choir was organized by the Race Relations Council of Southwest Michigan in April 2001. The goal was to bring together a diverse group of children from our communities. With the help of a number of area religious organizations from Benton Harbor, St. Joseph and surrounding communities, the Choir was launched. | | | In addition to their annual performances at the Race Relations Council Awards Program, the choir has performed at Race Unity Day, Brown Bag Concerts, Chalk the Block Festival, Blessing of the River, the Benton Harbor Arts Festival, Peace Temple, Lake Michigan College's Martin Luther King day celebration, Venetian Festival, Marketplace A.D., and the Benton Spirit Community Celebration. They have also performed in concert with the award-winning children musicians Gemini, as well as with jazz artist Niki Harris at the 2002 Coming Home, Coming Together concert. | | | The choir is open to all the children of Southwest Michigan.
